Westchester Parks Foundation engages the public to advocate for and invest in the preservation, conservation, use, and enjoyment of the 18,000 acres of parks, trails, and open spaces within the Westchester County Parks system.
Each April Westchester Parks Foundation and the Westchester County Parks Department host Pitch in for Parks. Thank you to sponsor Whole Foods Market Westchester for joining us again this year! It is our largest one-day volunteer program, falling during Earth Week each year. Volunteers take on special projects throughout the county parks to help get ready for the peak season. They paint, rake, prepare and plant flower beds, build footbridges and boardwalks in the woods, clear trails and shorelines, monitor biodiveristy, restore wildlife habitats and remove invasive vines from trees. Join in this community effort and help us prepare for spring!

YOU MUST REGISTER FOR THE PARK YOU PLAN TO VOLUNTEER AT WITH THE CORRECT NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN YOUR PARTY! PLEASE BE AWARE THAT SOME OF THE NATURE CENTERS WILL HAVE THEIR EVENT ON APRIL 22nd!
