During COVID-19, we want to remind our supporters that parks are for everyone – many people don’t have a backyard or safe space to turn to during this stressful time. We want parks to be there for us when we need them, and so we also stand up for parks and remember the importance of parks to our lives and the well-being of our community. Join us in advocating for keeping the parks open. Clearly, as we see each day during this health crisis, our parks are an “essential service.”

Be a Virtual Volunteer and help us to #StandUpForParks. Take photos of yourself demonstrating #SafeSocialDistancing out in our County Parks. Share those on your feed, tag us and your friends, and help all of us to advocate for keeping Parks open for all. We urge all who value parks and open space to follow common sense and mandated social distancing protocols to ensure that parks remain open for those who need them. Parks are essential.

Donate now to help us continue to advocate for parks and open space at this critical time.
